[TN-Bird] Brown-headed nuthatch nest

While walking last evening in our small neighborhood in
Cleveland, TN, we spied a brown-headed nuthatch going in & out
of a tree knot hole. The tree had been severely trimmed & was 8'
tall w/ the cavity being only 4' above ground. We heard cheeping
coming from the hole. One of the adults stuck it's head out
while the other foraged madly for insects. We have followed a
pair of b-h nuthatches all winter & spring in our area, &
wondered if they might nest near us.  Mission accomplished.
