Greenback?Blount County?Sunday, June 25
On the way for a morning of birding at Janet McKnight?s wonderful home and
Bed and Breakfast for birders, Wood Thrush Ridge, KTOS members Janet
McKnight, Patty Ford and Judy Massey found an immature white ibis, two green
herons and a Great Blue Heron on a farm pond on Highway 95 on the right-hand
side of the road at a very sharp curve to the right between Hwy 321 and
Greenback.

At Wood Thrush Ridge the following birds were observed or heard singing:
Wood Thrush singing
Red-tailed hawks calling
Red-winged blackbird
Northern flicker
Indigo bunting
Common yellowthroat
Purple martins
Barn swallows
Rough-winged swallows
House finch
Bluebirds
White-breasted nuthatch
Downy woodpecker
Red-bellied woodpecker
Carolina Chickadees
Tufted Titmice
Northern Cardinals
Eastern Kingfisher
Eastern kingbird
Great Crested flycatcher
Mocking bird
Summer tanager
American robin
Song sparrow
Morning dove
Brown thrasher
Ruby throated hummingbird
Field sparrow
Blue jay
American goldfinch
Eastern towhee
American crow
