This morning during the fall count, Laura Cook spotted a female black-throated
blue warbler! Four of us and we each had excellent views. It was actually
below the trail and we were close and looking down on it. And then when it
flew, it flew closer!
We saw it a the main entrance to Edwin Warner off Hwy 100. It was along the Old
Roadway just afternoon the entrance and stone bridge on the left between the
road and the creek.
The pond at the nature center had nice birds with lots of birds eating
roughleafed dogwood berries. Lots of Thrushes. And some warblers and a
Philadelphia Vireo.
Happy Fall counting day.
