Good morning birders, Yesterday, while sitting in the treatment room of my dentist at the end of Jackson Meadows (Blvd.?) in Hermitage, I saw a pair of summer tanagers through the lovely window in front of me. They perched beautifully on the top spire of a deadening tree, then flew away only to return to the same perch a few moments later. Also, there were two grackles on another tree close by and mockingbirds "performed" in the vegetation underneath. Robins were also in abundance. It sure gave some joy to the "chore" of going to the dentist when the treatment room has a nice window looking out onto a small stand of trees abounding with birds! I have to return today to have the dental work finished, so hope I get the same "room with a view" and can check out the birding there again. Cheers & prayers, Dee Thompson Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
