Just got back from my first big trip of the year and found in my neglected mail
American Birding Association's magazine, Birding. Always nice to receive, this
current issue has a fine article by Gail Mackiernan on birding on cruise ships.
You will remember our discussion of the issue last summer. Cruise ship birding
is a comfortable and surprisingly effective way to see pelagic birds. Also in
this issue, our own Ron Hoff is in the "milestones" article regarding his 8,000
World bird and his 10,000 Tennessee Total Tick (tn county birds), seen in Rhea
County. Great birding and great Birding!Kevin BreaultBrentwood, TN
