We had two first fall bay-breasted warblers visit the creek this afternoon (10/27). Other visitors included a Tennessee warbler, 12+ yellow-rumped warblers, three blue-headed vireos, golden and ruby-crowned kinglets, several hermit thrush, white-throated sparrows, towhees, along with our year round resident Carolina Chickadees, tufted titmice, and Northern Cardinals. Conspicuously absent were blue jays and robins.
