A little excitment during my daily pre-work birding at the house (west Knox Co, 3 April 2008). - Black-and-white Warbler, 1 male seen and heard, first migrant warbler of the spring here, trees are finally beginning to leaf out so hopefully more soon - Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Hermit Thrush, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and 2 Purple Finches continue to hang around - Osprey, a pair came flying down the ridge about 8:15. They circled a nearby cell phone tower and one even briefly landed on it making my heart race at the possibility of them nesting but the quickly continued on down the ridge.
