Douglas Lake (956.2 ft.), Jefferson County, 4:30-7:30 PM, 9/20/07 Got off work early so we drove down to Dutch Bottoms and launched the canoe in a shallow slough and motored across to Taylor's Bend. Notable: Canada goose (200+) Blue-winged teal (42) Dbl-crstd cormorant (45) Great Blue heron (48) Great egret (225) Black-crowned night-heron (3) Osprey Bald eagle (1 adult, 1 imm.)
