Subject: [TN-Bird] April 17th - First NTOS sponsored Wednesday morning Radnor
Lake Walk
Hello Tn-birders….
The first of four NTOS sponsored Wednesday morning Radnor Lake migration walks
will take place on Wednesday, April 17th beginning at 7:30 am. We will gather
in the parking lot near the kiosks (to the right of the Visitor’s Center) and
then begin our walk up the road, across the spillway and down the trail towards
Long Bridge. At that point the walk will ‘officially’ end however some will
continue on around the lake so feel free to join them. We use the same route
each week so if you get stuck in traffic or are running a bit behind you can
catch up with the group at any point. Also remember you can join us for an
hour or the entire walk….it’s up to you.
Stacy Elliott will be your point of contact on the 17th. Introduce yourself to
her and assist her by calling out all the birds you see as she will be keeping
the ‘group’ list. That list will be published later in the day here on
TN-birds so everyone can see what was seen. She will also be posting it to
eBird as a ’trip report’ so be sure to share YOUR eBird address with her if
you’d like to access that list and modify it to what you saw or heard
personally.
Many thanks to Stacy for volunteering to lead the walk on the 17th. Please
make sure to thank her for her efforts and have a great time.
Happy migration and good birding!
Cheers!
