Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!
Have you registered for the annual Spring TOS Meeting?? It is being hosted by
the Nashville Chapter and will be held in Nashville on April 28-30th.
Our host hotel is the Hampton Inn in Ashland City…a convenient link has been
established for making your reservations. Please note that in order to get the
‘TOS group rate’ you must register by MARCH 28th.
Field trips are planned for Saturday and Sunday to many northern Davidson
County hotspots. The banquet on Saturday night will be at The Green Door, a
farm to table venue owned by Albert III and Sylvia Ganier - grandchildren of
one of the TOS founders, Albert Lanier Sr. TOS historical memorabilia will be
displayed during the happy hours for all to enjoy. You must register for this
dinner…NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR OR AT REGISTRATION and you MUST
sign up for the dinner by April 15th. If you have any special dietary needs
OTHER THAN preference please note that on your registration form and get it
turned in by April 7th so we can accommodate your needs.
Our Keynote Speaker for Saturday evening program will be Noah Strycker.
Author, ornithologist and past ABA Young Birder of the Year.

the weekend. Parnassus Books will also be on hand at the banquet with Noah’s
books for sale and Noah will gladly sign them for you. Or may also bring your
previously read and purchased books and have Noah sign them too. Noah will
also join in on field trips on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Welcoming Pot Luck reception will take place from 5 pm to 8 pm on Friday
evening at the Hampton Inn where you’ll sign up for field trips and get your
first opportunity to chat with Noah.
