The public comment period on the Kentucky Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Resources 
crane hunt regulation ends Aug 1.  Forwarded below is info from the Kentucky 
Coalition for Sandhill Cranes with an email link to Rose Mack.  Please click on 
this link and send her a quick email saying that you are opposed to the hunt.  
A one line message stating that you are opposed is sufficient.  For more info 
check out the coalition's website at the links copied in the forwarded message. 
 Help us utilize the cranes as a wildlife-watching resource for the benefit of 
all.

ACTION ALERT!!!!!

KDFWR's public comment period on the regulation that authorizes the Sandhill 
Crane hunt began July 1and runs through Monday, August 1.  Any U.S. citizen may 
comment. Please encourage all family and friends to express their opposition by 
sending comments by post, fax, email or hand-delivery by August 1 to:

As of today, sixteen Kentucky conservation organizations have joined together 
to oppose the proposed Sandhill season. If you are a member of an organization 
that would like to take a stand in opposition to the hunt please let me know so
