Hi Jacob. I’m using windows 7. I usually go to search and type the name of the
song and it usually finds it. So, I’ll try that on the sansa. All best. Thanks
for your kindness and happy Thanksgiving.

What's your operating system?

Asking since, there's specific search terminology that works on windows7, for
example - using capitalised keywords you can search for term/word combinations,
and there are also type keywords - but less relevant.

For example, in windows7, to search for a file with both words one and two in
file name, you'd search for:
one AND two

And, the conjunctive term, AND needs to be all capital letters, and, for
specifically searching for music/audio tracks, think you can precede the whole
thing with something like music: but not 100% sure of that one, and, on
something older like windows XP, you'd just search for one two, without the AND
keyword, etc. - and, if not working on windows operating system, then, sorry,
but, don't have much experience with other operating systems in that sense.

Stay well

Yes, pretty much thanks. I did mean that, similar. I wanted to know whether
my sansa had a certain song. I know it does, but I mean I wanted to know how I
can search for this song. All best. So, I’ll try control F. Thanks.

In windows explorer, ctrl + F will launch windows explorer's search
functionality, and if you were already looking at/browsing the sansa, it will
search from there, down through file structure/folders..?

Am presuming you meant something like that?

Hello everyone. I hope you’re all well. Okay: When I’ve got the Sansa
plugged in to the computer: is there a way I can search for a certain song in a
folder? For instance, there’s a song I want to access on my player, but I
wanted to search for it and play just this song. Is there a way I can do this?
Thanks so much. Happy Chanukkah everyone.
