IIRC 'hibenate' function was 'built in' when I bought it.
The swap file (or whatever) is just one more
item using up disk space.

My own data? Probably about 2gb max.
The rest? Used by the helpful IBM | Lenovo software
which I'm sure is very useful to the corporate types.
