We have just turned on FR3 - without issue - are all the servers in the farm
set at the same FR level.

Right, it's just the SQLPlus window that flickers with each key press. Click
on a file menu and no problem. Type a SQL command and it flashes each time.
It's an Oracle 8.0.6 client so fairly old (1999!) but previously it was sat
on FR2 machines and no problems. We've stopped the rollout of FR3 as it's a
fundamental requirement for the developers to have it so out of 6 servers in
DEV, 2 are FR3, the rest FR2. Run it on the FR2 machines in the same farm
and no problems...
Tried reducing the colours, screen size etc and no improvement. 3 different
ICA web clients and same result. Tried getting later releases of the same
thing running and well..... It's Oracle and they don't even start up.

when you say the entire screen, is it REALLY the whole screen or is sqlplus'
window maximised and its that thats redrawing? (assuming sqlplus has a
window and isnt something thats running in the background, of course!) if
its that, then its just plain lazyass bad programming.. if not, well, im
sure someone on here will be able to help ;)
Incidentally, you seem to be a very busy bee these days :)

about 30 seconds to get a splitting headache! All other apps are fine. Tried
3 versions of the ICA web client and same result... Any ideas?
