Yeah that's what I think I am going to have to do. Thanks, I will also look
into ss.exe.

If you can't "change logon /disable" remotely from a different server, how
about scheduling it to run on the server you want it to run on with AT?
Which can, of course, be scripted in a batch file.

Also, there is a Resource Kit utility for working with (stopping and
starting etc) services on remote systems called SS.EXE that I use in batch
files quite often.

Michael, I have a script that will allow you to remotely stop any =
service here http://www.kentldyer.com/winscripts/batch/listfiles.htm =
look for "Remote Service Restart" but I a can't seem to find a command =
line switch for Change Logon to disable a server remotely, only for the =
local server. Does anyone else have any ideas on this?

Thanks, Eric Thurber

ALSO, while we are on the subject of batch files. Is there a way to =
run
Net stop spooler on one server but stop the service on another server?

I want to run change logon /disable from 1 server to disable logons on
another server. Is this possible? We are running XPe FR1.
