It has a symbol that looks like a hdd (round cylinder) that's white and
sits in the system tray, however nothing happens when you right click it

Does this unit have the icon of the lock on the tray? If so, try right
clicking it, if not this unit must be different than the one I have
used...

Sorry I can't be more specific because I don't remember the specifics of
that model, but I recall that you have to login to the device as the
adminstrator account and then it should be either a control panel option
or a standalone program to set the mode.....

Subject: [THIN] Write Filter on Compaq Evo T20

Was wondering if anyone has any information about the write filter on
the Compaq Evo T20's. I need to find out how to enable and disable this
filter as I need users to be able to save cookies on their Thin Clients.

I downloaded the manual from the HP/Compaq website, however it did not
contain any information on the write filter

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,
Ryan McBride
