This is actually a great question.. and one I cannot answer. When I push out the patches, they go into the Task Scheduler. Task = Scheduler is logged in as system, and I have the service set up by the = domain admin. Everything has reportedly installed correctly.. the next = time I run HFNetChk, it sees the correct Registry entries to say the = patch has been installed, and Task Scheduler reports no errors. If you're concerned, write a batch file to switch it to install mode, = then set hfnetchk to push the patches about 5 minutes after the batch = file switches over. Set it to reboot right after, and when the server = comes back up, it will be back in execute mode. ~*~ -----Original Message----- From: Lutz, Ken [mailto:KLUTZ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2003 2:28 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Windows Update Do you need to be, or want to be, in "install mode" when you do the = updates this way?
