http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system/winpreinst/WindowsPE_over.mspx Not sure if you guys saw this but depending how Microsoft is licensing this to ISVs this may have some impact on the thin client market. :-) You could easily come up with a Windows PE build with the Microsoft RDP or Citrix ICA client loaded on it and deploy it using PXE. This is way better than any Linux based solution (like PXES or Thinstation) for a couple reasons: - it is fully supported by Microsoft. - It fully supports RDP (even today, RDesktop does not support RDP5.2 completely three years after RDP5.2 came out. What to expect when RDP6 comes out? Another 3, 4 years???) But this in a way conflicts with what Windows Fundamentals does (although you as an ISV cannot license it).
