By the way, there are actually two print drivers when using ScrewDrivers-
the "universal" one on the server and the "real" print driver on the WIN32
client...

Print driver? What print driver? With Simplify Printing (Screwdrivers), none
of the MF servers need ANY print drivers .. No, not one ... to be able to
print via redirection back to the client. That's the whole point.

While redirecting to a gateway server can be an advantage in some
environments, the reason you give doesn't really illustrate what those are.
