I installed it on a Dev Citrix Server but found the IE process using up to
300Mb RAM for a Silverlight site we need to access. Im slightly concerned
about deploying to the entire farm. As Silverlight becomes more popular, users
will eventually browse more public Internet sites that utilise Silverlight so
the memory usage may become an issue..

Jeremy, do you have these issues with memory utilisation?

Thanks

Hi Angela,

Works like a charm on XenApp 4.5/5.0 on Windows 2003.

The installer only has the option of /q for a silent install,
and push out the following registry settings to the users.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Silverlight]

;Disable the popup message and activate Silverlight.

"Activated"=dword:00000001

"PopUpAllowed"=dword:00000000

;Disable automatic updates.

"UpdateMode"=dword:00000002

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Subject: [THIN] Silverlight 2 on Citrix

Hi

Im looking at installing Silverlight 2 on all my Windows 2003 Citrix
Presentation 4 servers. Im wondering if anyone has done this and whether
there were any issues? Im concerned that this "Flash" type
content may have some performance issues on my farm.

Thanks

Angela
