Hi Greg,

We've had up to 6-7 people shadowing a single session so what you want to do
should be easy.

You can either do it with scripting, which makes it a complete no brainer,
or use the public-domain multi-shadow utility (www.thethin.net).

What we've done with scripting is have the trainer log on eg as trainer1,
and then have a student1 logon whose login script finds the server and
sesion number of trainer1 and then runs cshadow /server:server sessionid to
connect to trainer1's session. So everyone that logs on as student1, shadows
the same trainer1 session.

This has the advantage that you only have to give the studentx logins shadow
rights, and since these are locked down to shadow trainerx only, it doesn't
constitute a security risk.

The script basically checks for a trainerx user on each server in the farm,
and returns a server name and sessionid for use with cshadow.

Rick

Is it possible to have four or five people shadow the same session? Or = is
it only one to one?

One of the departments here wants to do a meeting with four or five = people
looking at the same session.

Greg
