We're also seeing this on a pair of servers in our farm (also XPe FR2 on Win2k SP3, with MDAC 2.7). These two servers use Dell 1655MC blade hardware, but we have another eight blades with an identical Citrix build which do not have this issue. Restarting the IMA service and running DSMAINT make no difference. One of these servers is actually a test box which has been updated to MDAC 2.8, but again no luck. Users have no problems connecting to the servers and the only other indication of a problem is an event log message stating that Citrix RM failed to monitor system metrics, there may be an operating system or datastore problem (abbreviated). -----Original Message----- From: Claus, Brian [mailto:BClaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 17 March 2004 21:41 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Resource Manager reports "server down" Lol, seems like a common issue! I'm actually attempting to restart IMA now. Is this a normal thing or is it caused by anything in particular? =20 _____ =20 =20 Brian Claus, A+, Network+, MCP Network Administrator WESCO Distribution, Inc. 225 West Station Square Drive, Suite 700 Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1122 Phone: 412-454-2412 Fax: 412-454-2540 bclaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:bclaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>=20 _____ =20 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Claus, Brian Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 4:34 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Resource Manager reports "server down" My resource manager is reporting "server down" but the server is still up. It also looks like there are still users connected and working although I can't view any session info. XPe FR2 on Win2k SP3.
