I wouldn't dream of not running AV on citrix. Shocking! :)

No, because the very nature of a virus/Trojans/worms is to circumvent these
control. Many start out using unknown exploits in the system. Second, is
human nature. Some users will open anything.

as crazy as it sounds, it is possible to setup things in such a way as to run
no AV. You have to have a very tight perimeter, good policies, access control
etc.

Hi Everyone,

I'm reviewing our AV solution - we currently use F-Secure on our Citrix Servers
and whilst it does the job, we're finding it increasingly sluggish.

I've been told through the grapevine that the core F-Secure engine hasn't been
updated for a while and it might be better to look for an alternative.

What do you use?

I use Vipre from Sunbelt Software. Very fast, very small footprint, excellent
support and a great price.
