I think the client version comes into play also. The old W2K version only
supports 256 even if you connect to a 2003 server.

I don't know what client comes on the Neoware boxes.

Windows 2000: 256
Windows 2003: 65535

I am not sure how many colors the Rdesktop client supports.

Hi all,

How many colors does RDP support now in Windows 2000 and Windows 2003?

We have Linux-based Neowares (EON).

Thanks,
