OO yes, lets work on something I know and give my head a rest from this wall... ;) Download the root cert's from freessl on this page (http://www.freessl.com/starterssl/starterssl-installcert.html). Its already in the right format iirc. Copy these to the java directory on the web server. Within Web Admin, select the Client Deployment settings page and then check 'use a private root certificate' - specify the file name of the root certificate that you've downloaded. I've used freessl's ssl cert for loads of csg installations - works like a charm :) -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dogers Sent: 12 January 2005 13:08 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Problem with Linux, Java and WI v3 On Tue, 11 Jan 2005 17:21:38 -0000, Andrew Wood <andrew.wood@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > No I've used freessl before for the java client you simply need to put > the root certificates on the server in the java directory and enable > the 'Private Root Certificate' option. Ooh?! I know I've turned this around somewhat, but what format should the certificate be in? ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor SeamlessPlanet.com Domain Names Register your .com domain name for as low as $7.85 One of the lowest prices on the web!
