[THIN] Printing Problems

Hi all,
My setup: 2 - W2K sp2 servers running MF XPe fr2/sp2 with XE102W029
hotfix installed on both. 3rd W2K sp2 only is print server
(no XPe installed). I imported the print server in CMC and it seems
to have found all the drivers / printers (about 10, mostly HPLJ's
w/ certified PCL drivers). Life is good for a few days (almost a week).
Then, when one site's client is on the SECOND server, they
go to print and a Windows message pops up saying "You don't have
permission to use the selected printer. If you need access, contact
your network administrator." This only comes from the second server.
I turn the spooling off, clean out print queue, start spooler - nothing
(on all servers, including 3rd print-only server). I check permissions,
looks ok (printing allowed to specific printing thru OU Group), same on
both servers. Q319370 really doesn't seem to apply (I think - correct
me if I'm wrong - anybody have it?). Anybody seen this? Any ideas?
It's only certain printers (not autocreated) on the second server.
The only thing I can think to do is trash all printers/drivers in CMC
and start over (but that would wipe them off both servers).
TIA! -George
