I had the very same problem with StapleSmart finisher on Lexmark T622. I could see it from the client, but on the server the printer was autocrreated as a generic config. First thing you can do is connect to server's desktop (so you can see the "start" menu) and go to the "printers" aplet. The printer should be there (cause it's autocreated for you). Then go to the properties of the printer and you should get access to the Device tab (or something similar in HP driver). Add trays that you need and exit saving changes. Then log off. Log back in normally (make sure it is the same server if you don't use roaming profiles) and check if the trays there. The other way is to put the printer on the network and give user access to it by importing the prinserver into the Citrix farm. This is even better and works like a charm. hth Pavlo -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Robert Jackson Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 7:59 AM Subject: [THIN] Printer Problems Hi All, Server: W2K (SP2) Adv Server running Terminal Services Client: Windows NT 4.0 (SP6/a) Printer: HP 5000 LaserJet PCL 6 (Networked) We are currently experiencing a problem with our Terminal Server and HP 5000 LaserJet Series printer. The problem we're experiencing is that we cannot get access, through a Terminal Services session, to the additional trays on the printer. Everything looks fine at the client side. The client PC can print to any tray requested over the network. However when the client PC is connected through Terminal Services, the additional trays are not listed. Can anyone please help?
