Hi Tom,
It's a non-kernel mode driver and aside from the canon print Monitor, is
probably no worse than a lot of the newer HP drivers. So you won't have to
worry about bluescreening your server. It's got parallel and USB ports so
provided you've got the appropriate print server it should work just fine.
Just download the driver executable, i6100xp190ea5z.exe, open it with winzip
and extract the files to a folder. You can edit the i6100.inf file to remove
the multi-language support but that's just cosmetic to reduce the file count.
Install it via Add printer > select port > select drivers (have disk - browse
to extraction folder).
Only thing to watch out for is that some of the latest drivers (eg HP CLJ4650)
don't get on well with the Citrix Print Manager. The Canon should be okay but
if you're running PS4 and the cpsvc starts hanging (stuck logins etc) you'll
know what to blame.

Hi All
I have a site that has a small A3 Canon i6100 printer. I want to
install a driver for this printer on the citrix farm. There aren't any
Win2k3 drivers for this device. Only XP. I can't find anything on a
compatibility list for printer driver mapping either.
Should I just install the XP driver on the win2K3 terminal server. Worst
I can do is blue screen.
