Leader in Server-Centric Computing Features Transmeta's Efficient Computing

CITRIX IFORUM CONFERENCE - ORLANDO, FL - October 4, 2004 - Transmeta
Corporation (NASDAQ: TMTA), the leader in efficient computing, and Wyse
Technology, the domain experts in server-centric computing (SCC), announced
today that the advanced versatile, high-performance Wyse® Winterm? V class thin
client line will incorporate Transmeta's Crusoe® processors. Previewing this
week at the Citrix iForum Conference in Orlando, the latest V class of thin
clients takes advantage of the high performance and energy efficient
characteristics of the cost effective Transmeta Crusoe processor.
"Transmeta's efficient computing approach is ideally suited to address the
needs of embedded thin client devices," said Mike DeNeffe, senior director of
the Winterm line for Wyse. "This is a natural evolution of our collaborative
efforts with Transmeta to deliver advanced efficient computing features in our

The Wyse Winterm V class of thin clients will start shipping before the end of
the year, delivering to end users the proven advantages of the Crusoe
processor. With its inherently energy efficient design enhanced by Transmeta's
original LongRun® power management technologies, the Crusoe processor enables
the Wyse V class of thin clients to have impressive performance in a small,
quiet and fanless design.
