the attachement problem is probably because the Temp Internet Files location does not exist. Outlook uses that space for attachments and if it isn't there yet, it won't create it and will pop the error. You can test this by having the user open outlook and get the error, then have them launch IE. IE will create the path if it is not there. Then have them try the attachment again. It should work. The best way around this is to direct the location of Temp Internet Files to C:\Temp in the user profile. Even if the user isn't going to use IE, they still need these paths to exist. There may be a way to redirect the location Outlook uses for attachements, but I don't knw what it is. Sorry that I don't have any insight about the other error. We have also removed this and the problems continue – and TIA for any suggestions………… First problem is when attaching a file within a NFUSE citrix session; it puts the following in the message – ERROR! Not a valid embedded object. Second problem is when trying to open an attachment within an NFUSE citrix session, it pops up a box that states – Can't create file: name of the file.doc. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder – with just an "OK" button to click. Again, TIA for any input - __________________________________ Bruce Hill LAN Administrator Information Technology Gemological Institute of America (GIA) The Robert Mouawad Campus 5345 Armada Drive Carlsbad, California 92008 Tel: 760-603-4417 Fax: 760-603-4499 E-mail: bhill@xxxxxxx www.gia.edu The World's Foremost Authority in Gemology™ Ensuring the Public Trust through Nonprofit Service since 1931 This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to which they are addressed.
