Time ZONE shouldn't make a difference. My guess is the client (or
server) has the incorrect time zone (right time showing in task bar
wrong time zone) then when the domain controller checks (IE Eastern -5)
and subtracts the 5 hours they are still OFF by more than 5 minutes.=20

Subject: [THIN] OT: Time Synchronization between Win2k domains

Hi all: I have a general Win2k domain question. I am sure this list
will
help me.
We have a top level domain (domain A) and a sub-domain (domain B).
Users
from subdomain B want to log in to domain A, but they are receiving the
following error message:

The system cannot log you on due to the following error:
There is a time difference between the Client and Server.
Please try again or consult your system administrator.=20

Domain A is using EST, while domain B needs to be running on Greenwich
Time.
Both domains are on the same site (Default First Site).
I cannot change the time zone on domain B.
What can I do? =20
