I thought you might be able to delete them from the event log via WMI rather
than prevent them from getting there, but I didn't see any functions for
deleting, just adding and clearing.

Hello there,

Windows 2000
Mandatory Profile in use
Group Policies being used to set folder redirection and working fine.
Cached local profile deleted upon logoff.

Is there a way of stopping the sucessful folder redirection event log
messages occuring when using a mandatory profile.
Even though im pleased it works, it fill the event logs up :¬)
Im sure i had an article that explained how to stop the messages. Its got me
stumped at the moment.

Any takers ?
Thanks for your time.
