Right... SMC is C++ only. MFCOM supports VB. MetaFrameSession object is
your friend. The examples provided in the SDK may not help much, but at
least the CINCOM example seems to cover just about anything you might want.
See pdf file under MFCOM docs for syntax.

Yes. I didn't see anything there that would help me. Besides, the API
there is all for C++, and I only know VB.

Has anyone started any VB or VB.NET 2002/2003 development using the MF SDK
v2.3? I'm hoping someone has found a way to monitor the IMA connection to
the datastore. I'm not really looking for a way to monitor the event logs,
as that is one option, but there should be an object or property one could
query to get the current status of the IMA connection via MFCOM, WFAPI or
something like that.
I have read through most of the documentation, but I haven't found what I'm
looking for.
