I am reasonably sure you can't virtualize IE with Softgrid (now called App-V). Win 7 however has a thing called "XP Mode" which gives you an XP VM you can publish "seamless" style apps out of. Works reasonably well. Just leave your XP VM at IE6. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx Downside to using it is you do need a CPU with the VT feature for it to work. VMWare Workstation (not free) to host the IE6 VM will work without this feature though. -Matt On Tue, Feb 23, 2010 at 12:04 PM, Berny Stapleton <berny@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>wrote: > Hi there, > > I have a requirement to run IE 6 on Windows 7 64bit, was thinking > something like softgrid or some other hypervisor on the desktop for > this. > > Any other suggestions? > > Thanks, > > Berny > ************************************************ > For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or > set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: > //www.freelists.org/list/thin > Follow ThinList on Twitter > http://twitter.com/thinlist > Thin List discussion is now available in blog format at: > http://thinmaillist.blogspot.com > Thinlist MOBILE Feed > http://thinlist.net/mobile > ************************************************ >
