Oh and in that PDF it says that the hybrid solution is easy to install
and configure?
Not. The web interface for it blows, its easier jut to edit the XML
directly.=20
To install (if you don't have them create or create a VBS install script
your self) is a pain in the arse.=20
But if you can edit in notepad and Really understand the system AND have
the VBS to install all the stuff. Yup, then it works.
OH but it also requires that your HYBRID admin account (account used to
load and unload these settings from the registry) not only have lots of
elevated privileges on the local machine but also have rights to the
users home directory.... =20
As and FYI if anyone is running this I worked at another client where
this wasn't the case (rights to the home dir) so we added some lines to
the logon script (VBS) to create the directories needed by the system
and add the ACLs for the system to work. Let me know if you need it.
