Did you use the link to download the full version of IE 6 to install it? Do
a deep clean and remove all of IE components and start from scratch make
sure that there are no users on the system when you install IE and you must
login as admin after the install. Add a line to the login script to put the
machin in change user /install mode when you login after the install before
you reboot. (this can also be done by getting and putting it in a startup
file using the autoexnt.zip file from thethin.net freeware downloads page)

There is an MS Hotfix for this check Technet. Also you failed to say what
version of IE. Use the latest version 6 SP1

Having issues with IE. IE installs fine but when I launch it flashes like
it's loading then the window disappears. I tried Regmon and Filemon but
can't seem to find put what's wrong. Could be I'm not entirely sure what
I'm looking for. I actually don't even have MF installed yet, just TSE.
Service pack is 6A. Any ideas? Or perhaps what in regmon/filemon I should
be looking for. Thinking is possible a corrupt dll.
Additionally, I've tried reloading the box 3x's with same results, different
NIC drivers and even Different NIC. Issue seems only related to IE, Other
base apps launch fine??
