Best way is to backup the database of copy it (LServer directory) to another server. You could try installing the license service on another server. Authorize/activate the server, stop the service on both machines and copy the contents of the lserver directory from one machine to another, then start the service on the new host. Of course you also have to point your TS servers to this server if you are overriding the normal lserver discovery process. I'm getting our Windows 2003 terminal servers set up. The system that I want to put our license server on is only going to be here another couple of months since we lease it (we least all our servers). So, when it comes time to put in the replacement system, how do I transer all the licensing info from the old server to the new one? --- The T drive is not backed up ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online Thinssentials Utilities Using the latest software, hardware, networking technologies, proven technical expertise, proprietary software and best practices, EOL provides custom-tailored solutions for each clients mission and specific goals. http://www.go-eol.com ********************************************************** Useful Thin Client Computing Links are available at: http://thin.net/links.cfm *********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thin.net/citrixlist.cfm ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online Thinssentials Utilities Using the latest software, hardware, networking technologies, proven technical expertise, proprietary software and best practices, EOL provides custom-tailored solutions for each client?s mission and specific goals. http://www.go-eol.com ********************************************************** Useful Thin Client Computing Links are available at: http://thin.net/links.cfm *********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thin.net/citrixlist.cfm
