The part about renumbering is part of his signature, and not part of the
humor. It would be a lot more obvious if they'd add a few blank lines to
separate it from message itself.
The original message was a long joke about membership in the Axis of Evil,
but forgot to credit the author, which is what he was doing in the follow up
post.
