What if you block the TSs IP addresses going out on port 80/443/etc on
your firewall?
This will allow users to connect to the Intranet but not to the Internet
and will not interfere with the VPN at all.

Subject: [THIN] Locking Down IE

We have an unwritten rule here that you don't surf the web from a
server. Until now it's never been a problem, it has always only been
the Systems Group that logs into a server and we know better. Now we're
going to be pushed to publish IE for intranet applications, but once
they launch IE how do I stop them from hitting the internet where all
the bad kiddies are? Is there a way to shut that down inside IE? If we
block it at the firewall is that going to stop users from connecting via
a VPN from the net? Thoughts?

George
