I have CFTMon running on Windows 2000 and Office XP and have not
experienced this problem. Is it a version of Office or Windows that has
this problem?

I've seen farms just slow to a crawl and become generally unusable when
outlook or word is running - kill ctfmon and all is well again.

Just out of interest ...what is the problem with having cftmon running.
I have it running for every users login. Ctrix PS3.0 W2k3. Should I be
concerned...by disabling it, will I get improved performance?

Hi All,

Has anyone had any luck killing off CTFMON? Everytime I think I've done
it, it seems to come back, and it's driving me nuts :( Clearly I'm
missing an important step in the process, but I think I've been so
focused on it that I'm going around in circles.

Cheers.

Kind regards,
