Yeah,
This one drives me crazy especially after trying to remote reboot a system and 
it gets stuck on the screen asking why it was rebooted...

How to enable and disable Shutdown Event Tracker
1.To open Registry Editor, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click 
OK. 
 
2.In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key: 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Reliability
 
3.Name:ShutdownReasonUI 
Type:REG_DWORD 
Value:1=enable;0=disable
