Password Generation Policies for Web Application Definitions Are Ignored
When Using MetaFrame Password Manager Version 2.0 Symptoms Passwords are not
being generated for Web application definitions according to the rules that
were defined in an enabled password generation policy. This policy was
selected under the Password Change tab of the Web application definition.
Cause This is a known problem in MetaFrame Password Manager Version 2.0.
Resolution Use the DefaultPolicy setting under the AccessManager node in the
MetaFrame Password Manager Console. Passwords are generated for Web
applications according to the password generation policy enabled in the
DefaultPolicy setting.
