On p4's, copy the installation folder to the hard disk and run it from
there. This is a known issue with P4's

My machine is a test machine. It's Compaq Pentium 4 2.2 Ghz Small Form
Factor. Running windows 2K with terminal services running and Metaframe XP
I tried change user /install and didn't work either.
So your suggestion is to try installing the client on a machine with PIII or
Xenon ?

We run the 8.1.7 client without any issues. There is an issue with the =
Oracle installer on Pentium 4 machines, not specific to Terminal Server.=

I tried installing it through add/remove programs and nothing happens.
