Hi Michel, How about http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=8&threadID=72171 ;-) regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Michel Roth Sent: Mon 20/03/2006 21:03 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: ICA Client Version From Thin Client ? Rick, Cool tool you mentioned. However the client build number doens't mean squat to me. If only there was a list somewhere which "translated" build number to real ICA client version ie 9.0. or something similar. I know that you can sometimes make an educated guess but that just isn't good enough... The report can be run against specific servers for a specific time frame, resulting in a list of all ICA client types and versions, # of times launched and by who. From the Management Console just double click on their session - the session information tab shows client build number. May need to compare this number with some known version numbers to work out which one they have. > Hi All - I am wanting to know if there is a way to remotely obtain the > ICA Client version from a thin client device that has an active > connection to a Citrix server ? > I can a limited amount of client details via tsadmin, but cannot view > the version details. > > Cheers, > Shane Rees > Senior Systems Engineer > > Server Management > Network & Infrastructure Support > Mincom Managed Services > Level 6, 193 Turbot Street, > Brisbane, QLD 4000, Australia > Phone +61 (0) 7 3303 3955 > Fax +61 (0) 7 3364 9777 > http://www.mincom.com > > Mincom.
