Just finished a project using Altiris to build and deploy MFPS3 with no
problems.

Has anyone successfully imaged Citrix Presentation Server 3.0
as opposed to Xp FR3 or below? We are changing from FR3 to Presentation server
and would really like to image the 16 servers but all documentation that I have
found (and linked below) is for FR3.

The Powerquest (now Symantec) product referred to is V2i
Protector for Server asnd Workstations.

Bit pricey but does its job nicely.

BTW Ghost works fine with Compaq/HP Raid controllers althought
they dont support it.

We use it pretty frequently when we dont deploy using the HP
RDP.

Ghost technically does not support Raid arrays
(although I think sometimes you can make it work). However I noticed a product
by PowerQuest (now owned by Symantec) that makes images within the Windows GUI
and allows for scheduling images. I think this would have a better chance of
working on RAID systems and they have a server edition. Sorry I can't recall
the name right now...but if you search you will find it.

server

                                Hello all,

I know this question has been beaten to death,
but I have been off the list for a while and am a little behind. I am in the
midst of ghosting a production Windows Server 2003 Metaframe XP FR3 server to a
new HP DL380. Can anyone point me to white papers assisting with this? I
don't know if this is possible with the server drives already remapped and
could use a little direction.

                                Thanks in advance.
