Assuming you mean the View option (Large, Small icons ,List, Details, etc) do
you have Remember Each Folders View Settings turned on? I'm not sure where this
is stored, but its something to check :)

Users can change the look of a folder (from monster icons) to small icons, via
the drop down menu at the top.
However, as soon as they change the level, and return to the same folder the
settings are gone.
I can understand why this may happen on log off.
But cannot find a way either by group policy or registry settings which are
causing this.
Does anyone know how to change this?
