I would suggest you try this.... http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;827355 There is also a similar hotfix for 2003 license servers http://support.microsoft.com/?id=884570 Malcolm -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tasita Ebacher Sent: 06 October 2005 16:44 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Error 1004 "The terminal server cannot issue a client license" This morning a few terminals started getting the "Cannot connect to server" error, and Error 1004 is logged in the System Log of the Citrix servers at the same time. Setup: 2 Windows Server 2000 SP4 Servers running MF XPa. Assortment of Thin terminals, all running Linux. Only 2 terminals are affected right now, 8 are connecting fine. These 2 are both NeoWare, but there are other NeoWare's, same config, running fine. My Terminal Services License server (Win2K3) is running and the Citrix servers have Reg Keys pointing to that server. The ThinList archive has many suggestions to delete the \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing key from the registry on the client, but I am using Neoware Linux clients so that doesn't apply. Or, can I delete that from the Citirx servers? Any hints from all you experts?? Thanks! Tasita Ebacher ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: Cesura, Inc.
