Hi,

Ctfmon is the utility that does this. From memory it's kicked off in
HKEY_USERS\.Default\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run. If you
remove it from there and do some scripting to just plant the startup in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run for just the
Russian users, then you could just have it available selectively.

Regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Cyrillic (Russian) Keyboard settings?

I have some Russian interpreters here at work and I need to give them access
to the keyboard change applet. I found it in the Control Panel, Regional. I
then installed the Russian settings and then rebooted the server. All is
fine and good (I did it on my test box), but how do I give a few users
access to something that runs in the system tray? ( A letter icon shows up
on the system tray, and all you have to do is click on it to select the
language of choice. You can then type away in that
language.)
