We also copied the C:\Crystal folder into C:\winnt.

Works great.

I have several applications that use Crystal, as well and crystal itself
published. I have found that most of our issues were resolved by copying
the Crystal DLLs into the SSTEM32 directory. Some of our apps expect them to
be there and won't find them in the the normal Crystal folder which is in
the path. You might try using Filemon when launching the application and
printing the problem reports to see if the app is looking for any crystal
files and not finding them.

Hi All,

I've got some planning to do for 2005 and I'm looking at the cost of some
licenses, plus buying new workstations, yeah it gets expensive fast.

Anyway, about 2 or 3 years ago my client attempted to move to a completely
thin environment only to be stopped by two applications. One application
over the last few years is now working through Citrix, although not perfect.
The other application's name is ForeFront
(www.dexterchaney.com) and is the accounting software. This application
works well but the only problem is printing Crystal Reports through Citrix,
it works on some reports but not others. I attempted to fix this for a long
time but could never figure out why some reports worked yet others didn't.
The people that make the program will not assist at all and say that their
product is not compatiable with Citrix or TS. My question is this, I ran
this test on Windows 2000 running Citrix MF 1.8. Windows 2003 is out and
Citrix <whatever> is out now.
Has the printing improved? I know there is a Universal Printer Driver, but
does anyone push Citrix on Crystal Reports? Has anyone experienced Crystal
Report type problems on MF 1.8 that were fixed in later versions of Citrix?

If I can get this program to run on Citrix I can save a ton of money and
make managing this network a hole heck of a lot easier.
