After you click the "Look In" drop down, notice that the mapped drives are
displayed under "My Computer".

Yup, and I had set "Hide and disable all items on desktop". When I reset both
of those AND disabled the "Prevent access
to ABCD" it works. Thank you very much.
So just out of curiosity, why do you need "My Computer" on the desktop to see
mapped drives in the "Look in" drop down
list of a file-open dialog box?
